Les Marseillaises launch their partner club network
For the first time in their history, Les Marseillaises are launching their partner club network, in collaboration with the Football Association Marseille Féminin (FAMF), the Jeunesse Sportive Pennes-Mirabeau (JSPM) and the Football Club de Mougins (FCM).
Having obtained their training centre accreditation this year, Les Marseillaises continue their development with the ambition of strengthening their ties with clubs in the region and contributing to the growth of women's football across the territory.
Particularly committed to the development and support of young players, these three organisations share Les Marseillaises' desire to work together to grow women's football and foster the emergence of local talent.
This collaboration will notably create bridges between local clubs and the high-level environment offered by Olympique de Marseille, while strengthening exchanges and the sharing of expertise with partner clubs.
A first milestone officially marked at Francis-Turcan
This landmark agreement with the first 3 partner clubs in the network was officially launched on Saturday, 5 October at the Stade Francis-Turcan in Martigues, on the occasion of the opening matchday of the Arkema Première Ligue between Olympique de Marseille and Le Havre AC.
This alliance brought together representatives from FAMF, JSPM and FC Mougins, along with their members, alongside Les Marseillaises, to jointly officialise the launch of this new collaboration.
This first milestone marks the beginning of a network that Les Marseillaises aim to develop progressively, in order to unite clubs across the territory and build lasting relationships with them, in the service of player development, the support of young players and the growth of women's football.
Stefano Petruzzo, General Manager of Les Marseillaises: "I am very pleased to see this partner club network come to life. Les Marseillaises are meant to be a true driving force for women's football in our region. This network should allow us to grow alongside the clubs around us, to create a shared momentum and to shine a light on women's football throughout the entire region together."
Jérôme Dauba, Academy Director of Les Marseillaises: "It is a real source of pride to launch this partnership with three important clubs from the region. It is fully in line with our Academy's methodology, with a strong territorial foundation and a desire to share our approach with local clubs. The goal is to help talented young players emerge, support them on their path to our training centre and, ultimately, give them the opportunity to reach our first team."
