OM 1-0 FC Nantes: OM return to winning ways
Facing FC Nantes at the Stade Francis-Turcan in Martigues, the Marseille women's team claimed a narrow victory.
After two draws, against Strasbourg and Fleury, and a defeat away at Lyon, the Marseille women's team needed to get back to winning ways against FC Nantes, the former club of our manager, Nicolas Chabot. In a tense match, the decisive moment came late in the first half thanks to an opportunistic goal from Jenny Perret.
In the second half, the goalscorer received a second yellow card, resulting in her dismissal, but even down to ten women, her teammates managed to hold on to their lead.
With this victory, the Marseille women's side sit fourth in the table. In the next matchday, on Saturday 7 November at 9pm, they will travel to Saint-Malo.
