OM 2-2 FC Fleury: OM snatch a draw

The Marseille women's side remain unbeaten in the Arkema Première Ligue. After a balanced first half in which the game could have swung either way, everything was decided after the break.

Fleury came back out with greater intent and broke the deadlock before the hour mark through Shana Chossenotte. Marseille responded and managed to equalise with a fierce header from Naomie Bamenga, who had only just come on. Unfortunately, shortly after the equaliser, Marseille conceded a penalty, converted by former Olympienne Cindy Caputo. It looked as though Nicolas Chabot's side were heading for defeat, but in the dying moments, Louise Fleury struck to earn OM a point.

In the standings, Marseille sit fourth with nine points from five matches. They will travel on Saturday 24 October at 9pm to face league leaders OL Lyonnes.
