Presentation of the "Cahier des Olympiens"
Olympique de Marseille and Treizième Homme continue their commitment to education with the presentation of the 8th edition of the Cahier des Olympiens, organised for Year 4 pupils at the École des Caillols.
The pupils were able to receive their copy of the Cahier des Olympiens and take part in a discussion session in the presence of Marie-Charlotte Léger and Roselène Khezami, players for les Marseillaises.
Created in partnership with the Aix-Marseille academy, publishers Bibliothèque pour l'école and Imaginemos, this initiative launched in 2019 aims to support Marseille pupils in their academic journey through an accessible and motivating educational resource in OM colours.
Distributed free of charge to 10,000 Year 3 pupils in Marseille, the Cahier des Olympiens helps children with their transition to Year 4. Designed in collaboration with the academy's teaching teams, this 80-page workbook covers the core subjects of Key Stage 2 (Years 4, 5 and 6), in line with the national curriculum.
The Cahier des Olympiens is manufactured in Marseille by ESAT La Manade, close to the Commanderie, and printed on recycled paper. It once again includes the detachable 8-page Supporter's Notebook. Designed as a fun complement to the workbook, it allows pupils to explore a number of civic themes, including the environment, living together, the fight against fake news and artificial intelligence.
The Cahier des Olympiens is also available to purchase on the club's online store as well as in Cultura stores across the department. As every season, all profits are donated to Treizième Homme, in order to support impactful projects across the Marseille area.
Since its creation, the Cahier des Olympiens has already been given to nearly 70,000 children, a testament to the lasting impact of a project committed to serving the region's youth.
